To understand these new trends in creativity and innovation, this special issue encourages conceptual and empirical contributions, but not limited to, in the following topics:

 Building and managing networks of stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, competitors, innovation intermediaries, etc.) for disruptive innovations.
 How do firms create and capture value from networks of stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, competitors, innovation intermediaries, etc.)?
 Managing internal and external knowledge for creativity and innovation.
 Balancing creativity and productivity at individual, group and organizational level
 Stakeholder motivations for participation in creativity and innovation.
 Networks of stakeholders, social media, and the spread of innovations.
 Organizational structures, culture, and capabilities for networks of stakeholders.
 Networks of stakeholders, customer innovativeness, new product growth, and network externalities.
 The role of leaders in generating creativity and innovation
 Value creation and value capture using business model innovation
 Synergies between business model and product innovation
 Role of stakeholders in business model innovation.

Of particular interest are papers that are cross-disciplinary and set in the Australasian context.
