Healthcare as we know it is increasingly unaffordable and incapable of dealing with emerging population dynamics. Information Systems ((S) play an important role in healthcare transformation to meet current and future needs. As healthcare expands to address wellness as well as treatment in a more patient-centric context, aspects of content and process as well as technology all enter into ISD considerations. The ISD2015Conference focuses on these mutual influences in order to promote research into methodological issues and ways in which information systems designers are transforming healthcare.  The ISD2015 conference, among other topics, will focus on:

The ISD2015 Conference theme: Transforming Healthcare through Information Systems

Healthcare as we know it is increasinly unaffordable and incapable of dealing with emerging poplation dynamics.Infomation System play an important role in healthcare transformation to meet current and future needs.As healthcare expands to address wellness as well as treatment in a more patient-centric context, aspects of content and process as well as technology all enter into ISD considerations.

The ISD2015 Conference focuses on these mutual influences in order to promote research into methodological issues and ways in which information systems designers are transforming heathcare.

Submission of Papers:

ISD2015 is soliciting original, unpublished completed research papers and research-in-progress papers. All papers must be in English and submitted via EasyChair conference management system . For details about paper formatting see the Submission Details . Compliant submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

Publication of Papers:

The ISD International Steering Committee has changed the policy about the paper publication. This has been done in order to achieve more visibility and recognition of accepted papers.

Accepted peer-reviewed papers will be published in the ISD2015 Proceedings with ISBN which will appear in the Association for Information Systems (AIS) eLibrary. Accepted papers are encouraged to be extended
and sent to review for publishing in the journals indexed in SCOPUS, EBSCO and other databases.

ISD2014

The theme of ISD2014 conference is Transforming Organisations and Society through Information Systems. The conference focuses on mutual influences between information systems and organizational structures, processes and people and promotes research of methodological issues and ways in which the IS designers and developers are transforming organizations and society through information systems.

Conference papers will be published in ISD2014 Proceedings with ISBN. Presented papers will be eligible to be extended and sent to review for publishing by Springer.
